Meet Meg

Hi, I’m Meg — birth doula, educator, and passionate advocate for women and families.

I believe birth can be both sacred and evidence based. It deserves care that honors the body God designed and the evidence that supports it. That belief is at the heart of everything I do.

I’m a bold Christian who values informed consent, physiological birth, and whole-person support. I don’t believe women should have to choose between faith and evidence, intuition and education, or support and autonomy. You deserve all of it.

Why Birth Work Is Personal to Me

Before becoming a doula, I spent years teaching, caring for children, and supporting families as a nanny. I’m also a mom, an auntie, and someone who has walked closely with women through many seasons of life. Those experiences shaped how I show up in birth spaces — calm, attentive, prepared, and deeply respectful of each family’s values.

Teaching comes naturally to me, which means I don’t just support you — I help you understand your options, ask confident questions, and feel grounded in your decisions.

My Training & Certifications

I bring a strong foundation of education and safety into every birth space I enter. I am certified in:

  • Prenatal care

  • Birth support

  • Postpartum care

  • Infant care

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

This means you’ll receive care that is holistic, evidence-based, and safety-minded, without fear-based pressure or cookie-cutter advice.

How I Support You

I support women who want to:

  • Feel informed, empowered, and heard

  • Prepare for birth with confidence instead of fear

  • Integrate faith, education, and intuition

  • Have a calm, supported postpartum transition

Whether you’re planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth, my role is to walk beside you — offering education, emotional support, physical comfort, advocacy, and reassurance every step of the way.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not supporting families, you can usually find me:

  • Spending time with my husband and son

  • Reading a good book or listening to a podcast

  • Organizing (yes, for fun 😅)

  • Singing at church and hanging with friends

  • And enjoying a really good cortado ☕️

If you’re looking for a doula who will honor your faith, support you with evidence-based care, and walk with you wholeheartedly through one of the most sacred seasons of your life — I’d be honored to support you.
